To My Dearest Mother
My mother is a special part
of all that's cherished in my heart,
she is my pearl, my soul, my mate;
she is the one to make life great.
She is an angel without the wings,
who makes life special with the littlest things,
whenever i'm in need of love,
she is there from the heavens above;
whenever i'm in need of a shoulder,
there's no one as devoted as my mother.
Her presence and love have always been there,
everything in her nature is to only care.
With every soft hug and kiss
the world seems more beautiful and blessed.
I'm sorry for all the times i caused you pain,
but after these brief storms my love still remains.
I love you so much,
i will love you forever-
i wrote your name on my heart
and it will stay there forever, and ever...

Everything Mom
How did you find the energy, mom
to do all the things you did,
to be teacher, nurse and counselor
to me, when i was a kid.
How did you do it all, mom,
be a chauffeur, cook and friend,
yet find time to be a playmate,
i just can’t comprehend.
I see now it was love, mom
that made you come whenever i’d call,
your inexhaustible love, mom
and i thank you for it all...

A Tribute To My Mother
The beauty of nature is forever seen
by oh so many, who don't know what they mean
the beauty of the trees and their enormous heights
the beauty of the birds and their gift of flight
the sun, moon and stars are god sent lights
most things we take for granted are beautiful sights
the beauty of them all and the beauty of others
are no comparisons in the beauty of mothers
they are god's most precious gift to humanity
the most worked, yet least rewarded thing to be
with all that we put them through, they seldom complain
all the things they do for us, we still view them the same
have you ever tried to put yourself in her place
when you say your unkind words or grin and make fun to her face
what goes around, comes around, my mom used to say
well mom, i understand what you meant fully, today
all the love you have shown me, and the unappreciated talks years ago
are all fresh in my mind, because i'm a mom now, you know
i love you more every minute, every hour and every day that rolls around
i entered into motherhood blindfolded, and god knows what i found
thank you mom, for what you tried to tell me and forgive me all my wrongs
thank you for not giving up on me my whole life long
you mean so very much to me, i'm sorry it took so long to say
my beautiful, understanding mother, have a very happy mother's day...

To My Mother
Because i feel that in the heavens above
the angels, whispering one to another,
can find among their burning terms of love,
none so devotional as that of "mother,"
therefore by that dear name i have long called you,
you who are more than mother unto me,
and filled my heart of hearts, where death installed you,
in setting my virginia's spirit free.
My mother -- my own mother, who died early,
was but the mother of myself; but you
are the mother to the one i loved so dearly,
and thus are dearer than the mother i knew
but that infinity with which my wife
was dearer to my soul that its soul-life...

No Love like a Mother's Love
There is no love, like a mother's love,
no stronger bond on earth...
Like the precious bond that comes from god,
to a mother, when she gives birth.
A mother's love is forever strong,
never changing for all time...
And when her children need her most,
a mother's love will shine.
God bless these special mothers,
god bless them every one...
For all the tears and heartache,
and for the special work they've done.
When her days on earth are over,
a mother's love lives on...
Through many generations,
with god's blessings on each one.
Be thankful for our mothers,
for they love with a higher love...
From the power god has given,
and the strength from up above...

Short Mother's Day Poems
Here we Mother's Day provided some short Mothers Day Poems 2017 which are direct from the desk of famous poets and authors.
M-O-T-H-E-R
'M' is for the million things she gave me,
'O' means only that she's growing old,
'T' is for the tears she shed to save me,
'H' is for her heart of purest gold;
'E' is for her eyes, with love-light shining,
'R' means right, and right she'll always be,
Put them all together, they spell 'MOTHER,'
A word that means the world to me.

To My Dearest Mother
To-day's your natal day,
sweet flowers i bring;
mother, accept, i pray,
my offering.
And may you happy live,
and long us bless;
receiving as you give
Great happiness.

A Mom like You
There is no blessing
quite so dear...
As a mom like you
to love year after year!

I Wish I Could Tell You, Mom
I wish I could tell you, Mom
how much you mean to me...
But there are no words to say
how much I admire you...
how much I appreciate you...
how much I thank you
for everything you've done...

Ode To Mothers
Mothers cannot do it all, But surely do they try.
Mothers hear the angel’s call, To comfort all who cry.
Mothers for themselves may fall, For others they will fly.
Mother’s bear the weight of all, For their children, they would die.
A Mother’s gift extends beyond, All bounds of time and space.
Her lovingness and nurturing, Make Earth a peaceful place.
